I have been a certified Massage Therapist since December of 2000. I am licensed in Michigan and am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, Michigan chapter. I graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, a 1000- hour program, with an emphasis in Medical and Sports Massage. My reason for becoming a massage therapist has always been to help others live a pain free life, while providing them with healthy and safe touch.

My business is muscles. My philosophy is that we were made for movement and natural forms of healing. In this day and age, we spend way too much time sitting behind a computer, in an office chair or traveling in a car. The body wasn’t made for this much sitting. This has affected our posture by compromising and weakening our muscular structure which leads to chronic pain, overuse syndrome and collapsed organs. My goal is to provide you with a unique, tailored massage that fits your current situation and goals. I encourage you to come in and allow me to work with you to increase your range of motion, reduce your chronic pain, reduce toxins held in your body after workouts, and work towards straightening your posture.

I have been extensively trained in several massage modalities and blend these into whatever is needed and desired by you; each massage is tailored to suit YOUR individual needs. Depth and pressure are dependent on those needs. Massage doesn’t have to be painful to be effective. At the same time, healing can sometimes be a little painful. Often people come to see a massage therapist because they are already in pain. I want to help you get out of that place, and on to leading your best life!

here in St. Joseph, MI! To me, massage therapy is the perfect

combination of biology, service, and creative expression. This was important to me in a career because I love all of those things. I have a 7 year background in veterinary medicine, served as a medical missionary for a year, and had a dessert decorating business for the last several years.

While all massage modalities are valuable, I have a passion for deep tissue massage and have developed an extensive interest in anatomy and kinesiology. Since I also have my own share of pain and trigger point issues I believe I am able to easily understand just how valuable relief is and how to help achieve it. I am continually developing my skills and am looking forward to a career filled with restoration and caring. It is my desire to help you find comfort and peace during each of our sessions!
